1:32 longest fast he supervised 18 weeks - 126 days..got rid of testicular cancer stage 4. 1:44

1:32 18 weeks -126 days fast 1:44 stage 4 testicular cancer disappeared. 2:40 people fasted more than 6 mths 3:39 hunger=pleasant tickling sensation in the throat

Hi Freedomfajter, As I've been fasting people for nearly 19 years and have fasted thousands, I can't swear that I remember who was the skinniest either before or after, but it could be a young man who here's with me.  He's about 5'10"(177) and arrived weighing only about 77 pounds (35 Kilos).   While he was already very, very skinny with relatively few reserves, he was dealing with a serious degenerative disease and his health had deteriorated significantly.  He fasted two weeks and is now going through what is sure to be a long recovery process.  HIs weight is still quite low, but is beginning to come back up and it appears that he is finally able to get decades worth of old material from his body which will -- hopefully -- allow his body to thrive in a way that it truly Never has before since he's been sick since birth. As it happens, we have another gentleman here who also arrived very skinny (5'11" or 179.5 and 90 pounds or just over 40 kilos) who fasted for nearly 2 weeks and is also now eliminating years and years worth of old, hard, fecal matter.  He's been able to clear lots of mucous from his lungs and looks and feels healthier and more vibrant every day. His road will also be a relatively long one to recovery as this is virtually always the case when someone depletes their reserves to this extent, but it now seems that full recovery may be possible where it seemed quite possible that he had little time left on this earth when he arrived.

We don't measure the size of people's bm's -- though it has recently occurred to me watching these two very skinny guys eliminating so much.  In most cases, it's not that any particular bowel movement is so large, but rather that when the body is finally ready to let go of this formerly hard, dried material which it's been breaking down and re-hydrating, there will often be many bowel movements in a short amount of time.  So the younger man mentioned above has had 13 or 14 large bm's in the last 3 days, and the older man has similarly been eliminated a huge amount of this stuff earlier in the re-feeding process.   In both cases, getting rid of this old stuff will almost certainly allow these guys to being gaining healthy weight where they could not before. And we did have a client a few months ago who had a single bowel movement that nearly filled the toilet bowl -- likely an award-winner is such awards existed. As for quantity, we had a client a few years ago who had more than 60 bm's while fasting 11 days.  And she was referred by her colon hydrotherapist, who is also a client.  Clearly, hydrotherapy is not as effective as some folks would have you believe. As for worms, while our virtually infinitely-intelligent bodies will generally look at anything/everything present in our body and will break it down to extract anything which may be useful, every once in a while we'll have someone passing worms.   Last year, within a few weeks of each other, I had two women who each passed a significant quantity of worms, one of them eliminating whole cupfuls at a time. I could say more but frankly, this topic stinks.

there are several possibilities here; it might be that if you weren't aware that this pleasant tickling sensation was true hunger that you wouldn't have noticed it.  It might also be that your body was indeed wanting you to rest and so was not really interested in food at that moment.  The tired organism will choose rest over food unless already starving.  For instance, the male fur seal spends roughly two months fasting during mating season each year and then sleeps before eating. Eating fruit will always provide a burst of energy because we immediately begin to absorb sugar into the blood stream, but this in no way indicates that we needed to eat.   Feeling depleted and thinking about food aren't necessarily good signals as feeling depleted usually means we need to rest and thinking about food can happen for a variety of reasons including when we seek to suppress emotions, are bored, etc.   Frankly, most people have never experienced true hunger and may not until they fast long enough to both create the need for food and learn to really listen to the body. There's no question that one can indeed rely on true hunger to function optimally in physically strenuous situations.  But the key is often getting the body clean enough to be able to both hear and trust it's messages.

+HigherPlanes Hi HP, I do indeed experience "true hunger" and apologize if I wasn't very clear on the video; while fasting, the body will not express true hunger until it actually needs calories or nutrients, which for most people is many weeks as you correctly said above.   But when not fasting, your body would rather eat food than consume it's reserves, (which it stores for occasions when food isn't available) so "hunger" messages are apparent.  Many people may never experience this because their bodies truly want the opportunity to cleanse more than to eat most of the time.

rice high in arsenic, mucous forming

I can appreciate how both cultural traditions, habits, proximity, and the scarcity of other options can make giving up the rice (or other things in other cases) difficult to do.  But there's no question that all grains are significantly sub-optimal foods for humans.  And while you'd like me to ignore the fact that cooking food creates toxins this is a fact which anyone who's been all raw almost instantly knows to be a fact when they eat any cooked food.  Given that this is the case, I'm not sure what other reasons one would need to avoid it.  But rice has other issues including a frequently very high arsenic content and the fact that it's a mucous forming food.    While your relatively small rice consumption (compared to the places where people typically eat 3-6 cups per day) means you are at lower risk of problems associated with its consumption, but if you are interested in maximizing your health, any/all cooked foods would be better avoided.  Namaste.

you need to take hormones (thyroid) if you are deficient, while fasting.

+hyylo That may be a valid formula hyylo, but I would suggest that we would be better served focusing not on alkalinity but rather on hydration and toxicity, two things that we can directly control by giving the body the chance to cleanse and heal and then by meeting it's needs as well as possible via eating correctly and making optimal lifestyle choices. Doing these things insures optimal body pH and plenty of oxygen and without getting hydrated and clean, no amount of oxygen or alkalinity will protect us.

After fasting 21 days or more (assuming it's done correctly,) most folks do not need to worry about eating citrus as they will be unlikely to still have a candida issue. Until then, lemons and limes are no different from other citrus in that they will harbor invisible food mold in the pores of the skin and so handling them without creating an issue is difficult. And yes, brazil and walnuts are fine...though like all nuts should be eaten very sparingly.

I don't recommend using anti-fungals actually. Things that kill anything are toxic and since there is no reason to use them and they are harmful to us, why go there? Give your body the chance to cleanse and heal itself and you will not need anti-fungals.

Sorry to hear that Michelle. It is entirely possible that candida comes back after fasting...same as heart disease, cancer, and every other condition. The key is to make optimal choices after the fast as what happens after the fast depends entirely on the choices one makes.

No one is forced to fast and of course the choices one makes after fasting determine their long-term success. No one is suggesting that fasting alone will allow one to maintain an amazing level of health. It most certainly will not. My clients aren't just sane, they're generally far more intelligent than average. Unfortunately for the average person, sanity alone doesn't allow one to make the best choices. One must be sane and must also have the best information. And frequently in nature, one-size does indeed fit all. One of the few things that every animal species has in common is their propensity to fast when either sick-enough or badly-enough injured. Fasting provides the body -- every body -- with the optimal conditions to cleanse and heal and I don't know of a single time when this isn't beneficial or necessary. And while cannabis oil may kill the cancer, the cancer is Not the problem but rather just a symptom of the problem. Every body develops cancer cells every day. Healthy-enough bodies destroy those cancer cells as they form. A tumor is simply evidence that the body is severely toxic and out-of-balance. Killing or removing the cancer cells whether via radiation, chemo, surgery, or CBD oil in no way changes the underlying conditions of the body, except with the first three, to make the body weaker and more incapable of defending itself. Whether or not CBD oil shares this issue or not I don't know. But I Do know that eliminating the tumor does Not mean that the body is healthy, and it is foolish to pretend or assume otherwise. So whether one chooses to eliminate the tumor using any of the above methods or not, they would be well-served to actually give the body the chance to truly cleanse and heal itself to eliminate the underlying issue of toxicity and imbalance. Failure to do means that the cancer is likely to return...which is why this is exactly what happens so often.

Atma Sakshatkara

http://www.inner-quest.org/Atma_Sakshatkara.htmatma sakshatkara

That SHIVA further says:

1. Guha! I shall tell you about a different way
To reach that Reality which pervades partless in all,

Too subtle, though, to be grasped by the mind.

2. By which the knowledge of Awareness is well-attained,
Knowing which is to become Shiva Himself,
What has not been told to any by Me,
Today, from Me, hear that wisdom.

3. Handed down by the lineage of Gurus,
And beyond the ken of logicians,
This is for liberation from the bondage of the birth-death cycle.
Its Supreme vision shines at all places.

4. He who is the One pervading all things,
He who has manifested as All,
He who has faces in all directions, who is beyond thought,
Who remains Himself as all the verities and transcends them too, is the Self.

5. He transcends all verities,
He is beyond the reach of speech, mind and name.
"I am That [Shiva-Self]": thus you should meditate
With perfectly undifferentiated mind, on Shiva.

6. Firmly established as the Eternal entity,
Imperishable and Undifferentiated,
The all-pervasive, partless knowledge that cannot be fathomed by the mind,
It shines, with nothing prior to compare.

7. Without stain, Indestructible, the totally serene,
The knowledge transcending all objects,
Beyond the pale of thought, conception and doubt,
That [Supreme] I am – no doubt about this.

8. That Supreme Divinity, Shiva, indeed am I,
Of the nature of all the mantras,
And transcending all the mantras,
Devoid of dissolution and creation.

9. What is visible, what is invisible, the moving and the stationary –
All these are pervaded by Me.
I am the Lord of this universe.
All shine because of Me.

10. Filled with a variety of forms, one different from the other,
Filled with a galaxy of worlds,
All this universe, from Shiva down to the earth,
Are all established in Me.

11. Whatever is seen in this world,
Whatever is heard in this world,
Whatever shines, conceptualised as inside and outside,
All these are pervaded by Me, the all-pervading One.
Realise this.

12. Though considering himself the Self,
He desires to attain that Shiva, the Supreme Self, as one apart.

Whoever contemplates on Shiva, thus in delusion,
Will not attain Shivahood by such contemplation – know this.

13. "Shiva is other than I; I am other than Shiva" –
Uproot this attitude of differentiation.

"I indeed am Shiva" –
This conviction that is non-dual, ever practise.

14. Full of this non-dual conviction,
He who, everywhere, abides ever in the Self,

Shall see, in all things, in all bodies,
Only that Shiva-Self

–of this, there is no doubt.

15. Whoever has this conviction always, of the One Self,
Shall rid himself of delusion, and dual perception.

That yogi will attain to Omniscience –
So it is said in the Vedas. This you should know.

16. He who is praised in all scriptures
As the Unborn, the Ishwara,
That formless and attributeless Self,
He indeed am I – there is no doubt about this.

17. Only he who does not know his true nature
Is the jiva that is subject to the dharmas [characteristics] of birth, death, and so on.

He who knows his true Self is one who is Eternal,
He is the pure, He is Shiva.
Without doubt, know this.

18. Hence, what men of discrimination should enquire carefully
And directly realise is the Self;

That Itself shines twofold,

As the Transcendental and the inferior divisions, the gross and the subtle.

19. The Supreme Nirvana is the Higher,
The inferior is manifest as the creation,
Mantras are spoken of as its gross form,
What abides in changeless Awareness is the subtle.

20. Shanmukha!

Without realising It [Atma],
What avails explanations thereof in endless ways
?

 Tell me!

All these are only a wonderful display of words,
The cause for the delusion of the mind.

21. All the dharmas [qualities] abide in the Self.
Whichever of them the individual self [jiva] imagines,
Whereby he concentrates his thoughts again and again on it,
He will attain that object – there is no doubt of this.

22. Thus has been told by Me as the knowledge of the Self
What has been gathered succinctly in a condensed form.
All, by any means, is of the nature of the Self.
Realising this, may you ever be strengthened in the thoughts of the Self.

23. The deities, the Vedas, the fire sacrifices,
The various gifts to priests in the course of their performance –
None of this exists there, in the nature of the Self.

Be tuned to the blemishless, omni-faceted, steadfast knowledge of the Self.

24. To the jiva drowning in the vast ocean of the birth-death cycle,
And seeking a refuge,
What affords refuge is only that knowledge of the Self,
Not anything else – know this.

25. He who becomes of the nature of the Supreme
And realises It as It really is,
Shall, though experiencing all changing states,
Attain liberation without effort
– be aware of this.

26. There is no greater blessing anywhere,
Apart from the gaining of the Self.
Meditate ever on the Self. He, who is the Self,
He indeed is the one all-pervasive Supreme Self – be aware of this.

27. It is not the prana [vital air] nor the apana [the air that travels down] even,
Nor the instruments superior even to these, the senses, mind and such.
Reach ever for the thought of the Self.
That is the Omniscient and the Perfect.

28. It is neither inside nor outside,
Not afar, nor nearby, nor does It fit in any place.
That Supreme is formless, all-pervasive and effulgent,
Direct your thoughts ever to It.

29. It is across, above, and below,
Inside and outside, which are divisions, ever established firmly everywhere –
The Void, the self-luminous Self.
Ever meditate on That more and more.

30. Not a void, not a non-void,
It is also the non-void, and the Void,
Pervasive everywhere, but without predilections –
Ever think of this Self.

31. Afflictionless, and without any support for Itself,
Bereft of caste, name, and form –
That taintless, attributeless Self
You should unceasingly meditate upon.

32. With no refuge, with nothing to support It,
Beyond the range of comprehension, without parallel,
Faultless by nature, the Eternal –
The Self that is so, meditate upon it joyfully, forever.

33. Embracing dispassion and thus desisting from all karmic activity,
Shying away from society,

One should, thereafter, ever meditate upon

The Self within oneself,

in oneself, by oneself – be aware of this.

34. Country and lineage, the traditional castes and style of life,
Effacing various thoughts arising in the wake of these,
The wise man should meditate daily,
Upon his real nature.

35. "This is the mantra", "This is the Deity",
"This is indeed what is called meditation",
"This indeed is tapas" –
Casting afar all such thoughts,
Concentrate on the nature of your own Self.

36. The Self is without thought.
Make it impossible for the thought-oriented mind to think at all.

Make the mind that thinks, to get settled on the Self.
Let not the mind think of anything else.

37. The Self is not something that can be thought of,
Nor is It something that cannot be thought of.
It is not thought itself,
It is indeed Itself thought –
What does not lean towards any of the above,
The Supreme that is the Self, ever meditate upon It.

38. Meditate ever on That
Which is beyond the reach of the mind,
Allowing no refuge for the mind.
The joy that is attained in abundance in that Self,
That is beyond all verities and complete.

39. Without any differences, and beyond the reach of thinking,
Without any precedent, without anything similar,
That which is the utmost frontier and extolled as the Supreme bliss,
Be immersed in It.

40. Discarding all desire for objects,

Destroying the modes of the mind,

The non-dual state of being the One,

When the mind ceases to be,
Is the one called Supreme bliss.

41. All directions, all places, all times
Are conducive for the Yoga of the Self, so say the scriptures.
Differences of castes and orders of life and such,
Cannot cause any differences in the least to the nature of knowledge.

42. The colour of milk is one, the colours of the cows many,
So is the nature of knowledge, observe the wise ones.
Beings of various marks and attributes,
Are like the cows, their realisation is the same;
This is an example we should know.

43. Reality [Brahman] intimately pervades all,
It shines with faces in all directions.
Established in It without a pause,
Think not of differences such as regions and directions.

44. In this world itself, there is no mark, lifestyle, or tradition,
For the one who becomes of the nature of the Self.
He has nothing to gain by any action of his; no action need he perform,
Nor any injunctions prescribing actions apply to him – know this.

45. Moving or standing or sleeping,
Waking or taking food or water,
In the face of the wind, the cold and the sun,
Unaffected will he be, in any state, at any time.

46. Fear, indigence, sickness, burning fever, indigestion –
Even when all these affect,
One established in the Self,
Peaceful and shining full,
He is never at his wit’s end on any count; he will savour the satisfaction of the Self.

47. Whether going forward or returning, I am not the one that moves.
When enquired into, there is no going or coming.
In the ever-changing dharma of prakrti, the cause of illusive creation,
I never was immersed, nor am I now.

48. All activities prescribed are the work of prakrti, the illusion.
Prakrti, so spoken of, is the Source of all action.
"I am the immaculate", "I am the actionless", thus indeed will reflect
The wise man, the knower of Truth.

49. For him there is no bondage of prakrti, the delusion.
He has earned the name of the liberated one.
He shall never be touched by the defects
Spoken of as the action of prakrti.

50. The manner in which a lamp shines,
Destroying darkness with its light – in like manner,
By destroying the enveloping darkness, arising from inexplicable ignorance,
The Self, of the nature of the pure light of knowledge, shines.

51. Even as the lamp, with the fuel of ghee spent, attains peace,
The yogi, continuously contemplating on the Truth of the Self,
Will be at peace in the Self.
Nothing greater is there to be attained than the Self – this is the Truth.

52. When the pot is carried, the space within the pot,
Though conceived of as carried,
Is it not the pot only that is carried?
The Self too, like space, remains motionless.

53. When the pot breaks, the space in the pot
Merges one with the great Space.
When the inert body passes away, the Self, seemingly in the body,
Becomes immediately one with the Supreme Self.

54. Thus, the Lord who is Omniscient
Spoke with authority then:
"One who is liberated, severed from all bondage,
Becomes all-pervasive, endless,
With Absolute Awareness."

55. Discarding totally all the agamas,
Attaining the pure samadhi of Atma Yoga,

Realising, by due enquiry, there is nothing else greater than This,
Destroy all wrong ideas, in the mind, of differences.

56. Meditating continuously on the great knowledge thus,
That yogi who attains ever the bodiless nature
,

That pure jnani whose dharma is the dharma of That [bodiless nature] alone,
Is the liberated one, shining inside and out, reaching across to every place.

57. Omniscience and bliss, and mature wisdom,
Remaining independent, limitless strength –

Attaining all these, He shines ever, the Self without afflictions.
With an immaculate body, He, as the Self, merges in Shiva.

58. Japa of the name, worship, bathing in holy waters, ritual sacrifices,
None of these or others are needed.
The fruits of dharma and adharma,
Water oblations to forefathers,
None of these are for him.

59. No injunctions for observance, no fasts,
Nothing required by way of getting into or out of [any action],
No vows of celibacy for him, know this.

60. Not having any recourse to falling into the fire or water,
Or falling from the mountain top,
Enjoy the feast of the knowledge of Shiva, Eternal and pure.
Rid of the rules applying to all creation, move about as you please.

61. I tell you this is the Truth, the Truth, the Truth, thrice over.
There is nothing greater than This,
Nothing greater is there to be known,
Nothing at all, nowhere ever.

62. Rid of any blemish, rid of ignorance, with pure intellect, being the pure Self,

By the pure conviction that all that is seen is pure,

Meditating on the immaculate nature,

He shall attain Awareness.

narottama das

http://kksongs.org/songs/a/anakathanaboliboana.html

I will not hear other talk.  I will not speak other talk.  I will speak about the most precious thing.  I always pray for this.  Aside from the talk I yearn to hear, all other words are useless.

2) How can I describe the Supreme Personality of Godhead?  He is limitless.  Who can know Him?  The love the people of Vraja feel for Lord Krsna is eternal.  It is the true reality.  Always strive to attain that love.

3) Lord Krsna is the pleasure of the cows, land and senses, the moon of Gokula, and the root of transcendental bliss.  He stays with many gopa and gopi friends.  His home is Nandisvara, and His name is Giridhari.  Please, in the company of the gopis, worship Him with love.

4) O brother, the truth of loving devotional service has already been explained to you.  O brother, I will leave all material desires behind and, by my guru's mercy I will perfectly worship Lord Krsna with pure love, and I will become His gopi-maidservant.

5) Follow the path of sincere devotional service.  Stay among the devotees.  Remember Krsna and talk about Him.  When loving devotion comes, your mind will become pure and all sufferings will flee from your heart.

6) Know that sense happiness is a calamity.  Know that the material world is a dream.  Know that this human life is the root from which devotional service may sprout.  With love always worship Lord Krsna.  With love always hear His pastimes.  To do anything else is to plunge a spear in your own heart.

7) If one decorates his body with the dust from Srimati Radharani's lotus feet, then it will be very easy for him to attain Lord Giridhari.  I congratulate such a great soul who takes shelter of Srimati Radharani's lotus feet and I say to him" Well done! Bravo! Excellent!

8) Glory, glory to She who is named Radha, whose home is Vrndavana, and who is Lord Krsna's treasury of blissful pastimes!  Alas, destiny has cheated me, for my ears have not heard Radha's glories.

9) A person who, in the company of the devotees, again and again hears the stories of the pure love in the rasa-dance pastimes will attain Lord Krsna, who is dark as a monsoon cloud.  A person averse to hearing these pastimes will never attain perfection.  I refuse to hear the name of such an offender.

10) O brother, by chanting Krsna's name I will attain Radha, and by chanting Radha's name I will attain Krsna.  Now I have briefly told you how to chase all sufferings from your heart.  What contradicts my words will bring only pain.

11) Abandon false ego, pride, company with materialists, and useless material knowledge, and worship the lotus feet of your spiritual master.  Offer your home, friends, relatives, body and self to him.  His words are supreme.

12) Always serve Sri Krsna Caitanyadeva, who is a kalpa-vrksa tree giving away the treasure of pure love.  He is Lord Krsna Himself, the prince of Vraja and the life of Srimati Radharani.  Talk about Him is full of wonder.

13) Accepting the loving emotions of Sri Radha and accepting Her bodily lustre as the ornament of His limbs, Lord Krsna descended to Navadvipa.  Desiring to attain three things, He appear in Saci's womb.  He attained His desires in the company of His devotees.

14) Appearing in a fair-complexioned form, He made a great monsoon of spiritual love.  In this way He attained His three desires.  Why did Lord Krsna, the master of Radha, cry again and again?  Only the devotees can know.

15) In private I will practice the nine kinds of devotional service and in this way I will attain perfection.  I will always humbly pray for that.  In public I will perform Hari-sankirtana, my heart overcome with love.  Any activity that does not lead to My worshipable Lord is an obstacle.

16) When arrested by the highwaymen of material illusion, bound about the neck with ropes of lust, and about to take his last breath, the devotee of Lord Hari calls out for the Lord's help and is saved.  O devotees, call out in this way, glorifying the nectar topics of pure love for Krsna.  Then the calamity of repeated birth and death will come to an end.

17) Hundreds and hundreds of women, children and other relatives will someday die.  Take care of yourself.  I, who am very fallen, am already killed by sense gratification.  I would not worship Lord Hari's feet.  Now I have no protection.

18) I desire the association of Ramcandra Kaviraja.  Without his company the entire world is a desert.  If I must take birth again, I would feel myself fortunate to have his association.

19) I will not describe the specific devotional activities of each devotee.  Perform your devotional service carefully.  Don't become angry.  Don't find fault with others.  Offer obeisances to the devotees' feet.

20) Sri Gauranga Mahaprabhu has enabled me to write these words.  Without His mercy I am simply a fool who cannot distinguish right from wrong.

21) In his heart aspiring to attain the mercy of Srila Lokanatha Gosvami Prabhupada, Narottama dasa speaks this book, Sri Prema-bhakti-candrika (The Moonlight of Loving Devotion).

4) The great ocean of love of Krsna stretches without limit in all directions.  Although Narottama dasa does not know how to swim across that ocean, he plunges head first into it.

1) O Lord, I do not perform the painful activity of talking about anything other than You, but instead I only talk and think about Your lotus feet.  O Lord, I constantly and without deviation glorify Your transcendental attributes in the assembly of devotees.

2) I shall not perform any vows not related to You.  I shall not give in charity except as a service to You.  I shall not acquire knowledge except to serve You.  I shall not worship the demigods.  I shall not serve anyone except You.  I shall blissfully wander about repeatedly calling out: "O Krsna! O Krsna!" No one but You will stay in my mind.

3) During the life of this body and after its death, Sri Sri Radha-Krsna will always remain my goal, and the two masters’ of my life's breath.  I worship the Divine Couple and I swim and float in the nectarean ocean of love for Them.  I pray that the description of Their forms, qualities, and pastimes may always remain within my heart.

8) I shall use these senses to serve Lord Govinda, and I shall decline to worship the various demigods and demigoddesses.  I shall only speak about pure devotional service.  The numberless different philosophies and conceptions of life are all products of the conditioned soul's pride.  Trying to understand them brings no real benefit but only a pain within the mind.

9) The insubordinate senses are like enemies that live within the body.  Tell the ear to hear and it may rebel, refusing to hear.

Tell the mind to understand a particular point, or become firm in a certain way, and it may very well disobey.

10) I shall fight with lust, anger, bewilderment, greed, madness, envy and pride.  Defeating them, I will become blissful at heart, and I will easily become able to worship Lord Govinda.

11) Lust I will engage in offering the fruits of my work to Lord Krsna.  Anger I will direct towards the enemies of the devotees.  Greed I will engage by being greedy to hear the topics of Lord Hari in the association of the saintly devotees.  Bewilderment will be manifested because I cannot immediately attain my worshipable Lord.  Madness will be there when I madly glorify the transcendental attributes of Lord Krsna.  In this way I will engage each of these in the service of Lord Krsna.

12) If lust is not controlled, then it becomes the breeding ground for a host of vices and checks one's advancement on the path of devotional service.  However, if one stays in the association of the saintly devotees, then that association will carry him beyond the influence of lust, anger, and their friends.

13) I shall not become angry.  I shall renounce anger.  I shall become free from my six enemies, such as greed and bewilderment.  I shall control my mind, and always remember Lord Krsnacandra.

14) When lust and his friends hear the word "Govinda" they immediately begin to flee, as a herd of elephants flees when it hears a lion's roar.  If one engages in single-pointed devotional service to Lord Krsna, then the worshipper attains transcendental bliss, and all kinds of calamities flee from him.

15) Don't sin.  Take no interest in profit, adoration, and distinction.  Instead meditate on the lotus feet of Lord Govinda.  In this way all sufferings will go far away and transcendental bliss and pure love for Lord Krsna will spontaneously come.

16) Give up the association of the impious non-devotees.  Give up the tendency to find fault in others.  Don't follow any spiritual path other than devotional service.  Don't worship the demigods.  If one takes to the worship of the demigods, he becomes deviated from the path of devotional service.

1) O fish like soul, why have you fallen into the entangling nets of Maya? You have not understood that being bound up by those nets you will have to remain in this material world for a long, long time.

2) After becoming captive in Maya’s snare due to your desires for insignificant enjoyments, you remain transformed in a spiritually diseased condition, punishable just like a disobedient servant.

3) Now, by the power of devotional service, always remain subservient to Lord Krsna, swimming and frolicking freely in the nectarine ocean of Krsna-prema.
